For this years' Conference we have lined up some fantastic social functions to allow you to get to know the other delegates, and to have some fun!

The pōwhiri (welcome ceremony) will be held at Tūrangawaewae Marae
Buses will depart Claudelands Events Centre at 3:00pm and return to the Novotel Hotel and Claudelands at approx. 6:00pm.
Light refreshments will be served following the pōwhiri
The pōwhiri is a welcome ceremony by the tangata whenua that draws everyone together in the opening of the conference.

The Monday Mixer will be a great opportunity to mingle with fellow attendees of the IMAV Conference, you will be able to share ideas and discuss the week ahead.

This is the night everyone remembers! This dinner is an additional cost from your Conference registration and sells out fast! So be sure to book your ticket on the registration page.
This will be held at Hamilton Gardens and the theme is Flower Power!

Special screening of the Lost Rivers Film, organised by Morphum Environmental
Lost Rivers is a thought provoking documentary about daylighting which presented a global vision to resurrect “hidden” rivers to revive urban areas and provide solutions to flooding and pollution issues. The film takes you on an adventure into the underground world of piped waterways across the globe, meeting visionary urban thinkers, artists and explorers from around the world, all passionate about reconnecting rivers with their natural and urban environments.
There will be no cost for for attendence, and Morphum Environmental will provide drinks and nibbles prior to the film in the foyer from 6pm.
